CIHT South East Awards 2021

The CIHT South East Awards have been postponed.

 

The South East regional committee are hosting an online regional awards ceremony for locally based companies, on the 21 September 2021 to encourage them showcase their projects and contribution to the industry.

Three award categories have been selected for the Regional awards:

CIHT South East Environmental Technologies Award

 

This award is for projects that have had demonstrable benefits for the environment, industry and society. 

 

CIHT South East Young Professional Outstanding Contribution Award

 

This award is for young professionals and future leaders in the region. 

 

CIHT South East Innovating Project of the Year Award

 

This award is for projects that can demonstrate both originality and innovation in their approach. 

 

 

 

How do you apply? 

Entrants will be required to complete an application form and produce a portfolio for their selected category in order to provide evidence that fulfil the award criteria. The submission deadline for the awards has been extended. To apply please send your completed form and evidence to southeast@ciht.org.uk

Entrants may showcase a project they have delivered or worked on, a technical innovation, an innovative design, a research project, or a technological innovation they developed or incorporated within a project.

Candidate companies will be required to strictly adhere to a 10 pages portfolio, that may contain text, drawings, sketches, photographs, graphs, etc, with an introduction to the project, their contribution and a discussion in the end of why they believe they deserve the award they are entering for.

 

Why should you apply?

These awards give the highways and transportation professionals an opportunity to present to the industry the projects of 2020 they are most proud of and gain the recognition they deserve.

The awards provide an opportunity for companies to:

  • Showcase their projects and contribution to the industry.
  • Gain recognition as innovators, environmentally conscious and investors in young professionals within their peers and competitors.
  • Demonstrate the talent and skills within their workforce.
  • Receive an Awards Certificate from the Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportation.

Entries will be shortlisted and will be announced on the CIHT Website. Candidates will be informed accordingly.

 

The Judging Panel

Candidate companies will be assessed on the basis of their content and the fulfillment of the award criteria.
