The presentation will cover the costs of runway accidents at both civil and military airfields with a Green Solution to reduce or negate the damage to aircraft veering off the runway.
Emphasis will be put on supporting an aircraft on the grass runway strip as well as creating a grass shoulder which is resistant to jet blast . Secondary benefits are neutralising the potential for Bird Strike by reducing the food source with less worms and better drainage.
