Organised by CIHT Northern Ireland, this in-person event will talk through professional qualifications and provide the opportunity to meet recent successful candidates and a qualifications reviewer.

This event will give attendees the opportunity to hear from a recently qualified Chartered Engineer (CEng) and Chartered Transport Planning Professional (CTPP) as well as a current CIHT Reviewer. They will cover a range of hints and tips for those considering progressing with professional qualifications. There will be a Q&A session at the end.
There is no charge for this event (for CIHT members and non-members).
This event is targeted for those who are interested in pursuing professional qualifications and who may be considering making an application through CIHT.
Philip Robinson, Department for Infrastructure
Philip is the Head of Intelligent Transport Systems within DfI. He is a past Chair of the CIHT Northern Ireland Region and has been a Reviewer for CIHT since 2006. He is a Fellow of both CIHT and ICE and has been working in the public sector for over 27 years, mainly in the areas of highways & transportation.
Emma Dorman, Amey Consulting
Emma is a Chartered Civil Engineer (CEng) with 15 years’ experience within the highways sector, working as a Site Supervisor within the Project Management team on a variety of schemes within Roads and Rivers. She works within the Highways team for Amey.
Celine Daly, RPS Belfast
Celine is a Technical Director within the Highways, Civils & Transportation section of the RPS Belfast office. Celine is a Chartered Transport Planning Professional (CTPP). Since joining RPS in 2001, she has gain 22 years’ experience in all aspects of transport planning, engineering and consultancy.
Celine has worked extensively in the field of preparation and progression of transport-related deliverables for planning submissions and providing Expert Witness services. She is also responsible for procuring and managing call-off contracts for large governmental and private frameworks such as the DfI Major Roads Works Framework (NI), Dublin Port Environmental & Planning Framework (ROI) and North Ayrshire Council Consulting Services Active Travel Framework (Scotland).
