Andrew Davidson - National Operations Manager, Transport Scotland – Roads Directorate

Andrew is National Operations Manager in Transport Scotland’s Operations team with responsibility for network resilience, incident response, planning for the transport impacts of major events, and the management of Transport Scotland’s Intelligent Transport Systems and related services. This includes responsibility for Transport Scotland’s Future ITS Strategy, the operation of the Traffic Scotland ITS and Traffic & Travel Information service and emerging areas such as Connected and Autonomous Vehicles.

Andrew represents Transport Scotland on ITS (UK) Council and is a member the ITS (UK) Strategy Board. Andrew is a Chartered Engineer and Transport Planning Professional. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (CIHT) and a former member of CIHT Council.
